Police Award

OAK HILLS ROTARY CLUB PRESENTS POLICE AWARD

On May 15, 2009, the San Antonio Oak Hills Rotary Club presented an award to Police Detective Robert Ramos for his excellent work in the community. In one of the safest meetings the Oak Hills Club has ever had, Detective Ramos’ partner, his supervisor, her supervisor, the Prue Road Station Chief and Deputy Chief Jeff Humphrey attended the ceremony. Detective Ramos also had his two sons present and various family members. After graduating from the Police Academy, he worked patrol for nine years. He was promoted to Detective in 2002 and has spent the last seven years in the San Antonio Northwest Robbery Detail. Deputy Chief Humphreys thanked our Rotary Club for honoring one of our men in blue. He noted that Det. Ramos’ name is very well known downtown and also expressed his appreciation to the Club and Rotary in general as a service organization. This presentation is one of several the Oak Hills Rotary Club will be giving to our public service personnel in San Antonio.
